I sure do miss each of you and I miss having a shoppe where we can at least cross paths if only occasionally. We have launched a new website which has enabled us to offer more products and get them shipped right out to your door! Merry Christmas everyone! We have missed you greatly! It's hard to believe that nearly FOUR months have passed since we closed our doors at the end of August. Time flies! Many of you have reached out to us and we greatly appreciate hearing from you. It's nice to be missed! We've been very busy getting our online business established and we are very thankful to say that we have been pleased. In addition to the many items we offer for sale and ship daily, our beautiful magnolia, mixed evergreens, and cedar wreaths have been quite popular to say the least! I must admit that these past few weeks have been a bit on the odd side without being somewhere you have come accustomed to being for the past fourteen plus years. I miss the customers the most who became a part of my family and a part of the daily routine of being at the shoppe. We always knew who was going to show up at some point; we just didn't always know when it would be!

Beyond the store, we have had other avenues of selling for many years. We used these means as a resource to reach outside the brick and mortar to others who might have had an even greater interest in what we might have to offer at different times.

We had always entertained the thought of having a "real .COM" but we never seemed to have enough time to push it through nor to perhaps take an even closer look at what we might try to offer.

With that being said, we have pushed it through finally and we are in the very, very early stages of the many things we would like to offer to you, our former customers, and to those customers who far surpass driving distance to our old shoppe.

Our general focus for the upcoming holiday season will be our beautiful handmade wreaths and other fresh greenery designs. Until another category is created within the coming days as we seek to find the neatest treasures, our "The Cutest Little Things Make The World Go 'Round" section features some neat little things we have found along this journey as well!

The Corner Thrift Shoppe has officially closed its doors as of today, August 29, 2024. To our many customers over the past 14 years, we extend a HUGE THANK YOU for your patronage, your support, and most of all, your friendships. The Corner Thrift Shoppe brought to us more than we ever hoped for and for that, we are extremely grateful. We are working on some other things that hopefully, we are able to share in the coming days. God Bless

CLOSING UPDATE.....All of the free merchandise is GONE. We still have a few furniture pieces that are absolutely free and we need to get these out tomorrow, Thursday, August 28. I have 3 very nice long school tables that would be great in a classroom, church, playroom, craft room, etc. I have an antique display cabinet/showcase; top glass is cracked but could easily be replaced. We also still have one room that all of the items are 75% off and they will only be available through tomorrow, after which they will be packed up for another date and time. We plan to close the doors for good on Friday, August 31, as we are a little ahead of the scheduled closing date. I will keep you updated. Thank you for the overwhelming response to the free merchandise offer today! You made our job much easier!

Tomorrow, August 28, 2024, there will be FOUR ROOMS with FREE MERCHANDISE....included but not limited to is home decor, dinnerware, lots of Christmas items, furniture, pictures, clothing, whatknots, and lots more. This will begin at opening at 10:00 on Wednesday morning and most likely we will continue to add free items throughout the day. Everything must go! Please bring your own containers/bags....feel free to take as much as you would like! There is no limit and everyone is welcome. We will have plastic totes available without lids for $2 each.

We also have merchandise that is still 75 PERCENT off with some great items still available. Our goal is to have the store completely cleared out before Saturday, August 31, 2024. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow! (I will not be answering questions about this post here. You will have to come and see for yourself! Thanks!)

This is the LAST WEEK that The Corner Thrift Shoppe will be open.....everything is still 75% off storewide and we will also bundle items to give you bigger discounts. So, come and get it! We still have free furniture outside.....if it's outside, please feel free to load it up.....one piece or all of it. We also have multiple pieces inside that are free as well....sorry no pictures at present of all of those things.

We also have a nice, heavy store counter that we need to sell......it is $45
