Overwatering doesn’t mean giving a plant too much water at one time — it usually means watering too often and not allowing the roots to dry properly.
Most plants would rather be slightly thirsty than drowning.
Reminder: Love your plants… but don’t smother them. 😂💚

Plants like Pink Princess Philodendrons get their pink coloring from a lack of chlorophyll in parts of the leaf.
That gorgeous variegation is beautiful… but it also means the plant has less ability to photosynthesize.
Pretty AND high maintenance? Sounds familiar. 😂

Not all cacti love brutal direct sun immediately after purchase!
A cactus moved from a greenhouse or store into intense outdoor sunlight can actually sunburn. 😬
