If you're intrigued by needle felting, and want to learn from a (very chill) pro, we have two classes coming up with Allison from Allison Dupuis !
Next week, we have a kid-friendly Wiggly Worm class for ages 9+! Your kiddos, their pals, and you and your pals can all make custom worm buddies with bendable bodies. This class is Tuesday afternoon, 9/29, all materials are included, and no experience is necessary!
And then on Saturday, October 17, we'll be making succulents that are perfect for anyone with a black thumb or windowless office. Also beginner friendly with all supplies included!

I know fall is coming, because we're gearing up for our annual Fall Festival in November; it will be here before you know it! We always have such a great group of vendors and a wonderful community turnout. I'm looking forward to celebrating our NINTH year in business with all of you!

We are looking for a range of handcraft vendors and community organizations to join us, so fill out the application on the website (under the "NEWS" tab). We've welcomed new and established craft businesses, and are especially looking for a couple food and beverage vendors, carts, or trucks to join us. My deepest wish is to have a return of the fiber animal "petting zoo" from our first couple years of this event, so please connect with us if you have fiber animals who can travel. They don't actually have to be pettable 😂 but the goal is for folks of all ages to be able to connect fibers to the animals they come from!

We'll be making Latte Art Pincushions next Thursday evening, and Wiggly Worms on Tuesday the 29th in a kid-friendly daytime class! All supplies are included!

Want to spend a cozy autumn with a knitting project in your lap? I know it doesn't feel like it this week, but this is the best time to get started on your knitting journey if you want to be knitting beanies by the holidays and sweaters in the new year! We have two beginner classes starting at the end of next week- a Friday afternoon session starting the 11th and a Saturday morning session starting the 12th. And if you know the basics and have been dreaming of toasty toes, we also have a beginner sock class starting on the 12th!
Our next beginner knitting class won't be until January, so head over to the classes tab at freemanscreative.com to sign up!

We're having a supply swap! We've all got supplies that are taking up space and not getting used... Bring your clean and usable supplies such as yarn (whole or partial skeins), fabric (yardage, precuts, FQs, no tiny scraps or worn out clothes), patterns and books, Notions, needles, hooks, and other handcraft accessories. You are also welcome to bring handmade garments and partially completed projects. This event is always fun and full of treasures! We spend the first 15 minutes sorting materials, and then open the floor for swapping!
All supplies left at the end of the swap will be donated to the The Scrap Exchange Reuse Arts Center + Thrift Store
