Meredith Stull is the artist and cartographer behind , where whimsical illustration and cartography come together to create captivating visual journeys. She creates handcrafted, illustrated maps that capture the charm of cities, parks, and college campuses throughout North Carolina, thoughtfully weaving together landmarks, streets, and cultural details. Each piece is meticulously drawn by hand, offering a fresh and personal perspective on familiar places.

Meredith is a certified Geospatial Professional® and a nationally award-winning cartographer. Her work has been featured in scientific publications as well as art shows across the country. Through her maps, she aims to create meaningful, story-driven artwork that serves as both a decorative piece and a celebration of place.

You may have already spotted Meredith at a market this season - we're so glad to have her join the DCM!

😻Meet the Durham Craft Market's newest members!😻

Aloe Frost is a diverse collection of ceramics focused on primarily wheel-thrown and altered, unglazed stoneware planters and sculptures created by self-taught potter Kevin Howard. He combines his lifelong love of plants, nature, folk art, and archaeology to create modern, whimsical pieces with a goal of bringing more smiles into the world.

You can catch Kevin and his menagerie of lil pots this Saturday morning!

🌼Meet the Durham Craft Market's newest members!🌼

Say hello to Katie Gonzalez, the dried flower artist at !

Katie developed a love of gardening a few years ago, inspired by her father's cultivation of zinnias and yarrow. In November of 2022, sbe began Petal to the Press began as a way to extend her garden and to share her love of preserving flowers with others.

Katie loves experimenting with each different flower, leaf and plant to see how they dry or press, and then turning them into art. She carefully chooses the plants to add to her garden, selecting the best options for pressing to create framed art, bookmarks, cards and other gift options. In addition to pressing flowers that she grows, she also does bouquet preservations for all events such as weddings, memorials, and birthdays.

Every piece bridges traditional woodworking with bold, modern design. You can shop available goods or learn about custom commissions on the studio's website.

☀️Meet one of our new 2026 member artists!☀️

Ryann Carey is an artist based in Hillsborough, North Carolina. She strives to paint the representational world converging with the emotional response it elicits. She lets her curiosity in exploring the world and road tripping guide her in capture moments on camera. Her photography is then turned into watercolor paintings, portraying not only what the eye has seen but also the feeling that a space and time evoked.

The 2026 market season is well underway, and it's about time that you met this year's new members! First up, we're so excited to introduce you to Wildleaf Paper Works🌿

Cathleen Baldwin of Wildleaf Paper Works is a collage artist working out of her home in Holly Springs, North Carolina. She handprints all her paper using a gel plate with acrylic paints, flowers, leaves, stencils and other found items. She likes to print on a variety of papers including sheet music, old books, dictionaries and cookbooks. Her favorite subjects are animals.
