🌸 Tuesday Product Spotlight | HOMECOMING!

Homecoming is getting close! 💃🕺

Which means around here, it’s almost time for corsages, boutonnieres, flowers, pictures, fancy clothes…and parents trying to get everyone where they need to be on time. 😂

If Homecoming is on your calendar, now is the time to get those flower orders in!

We love making each one a little different and coordinating the flowers and ribbon to dresses, suits, ties—or whatever look they have planned. 🤍

When you order, it’s helpful to know:

🌸 Corsage or boutonniere
🎨 Dress/outfit color
🎀 Any ribbon or flower color preferences
✨ And whether you want something classic or a little more fun and different

And if you have a picture of the dress or outfit—bring it! That makes our job even easier.

Homecoming is one of those fun little milestones, and we love getting to make the flowers that become part of all those pictures and memories. ❤️

🤍 Only in a Small Town Monday...

This weekend was a little bit of everything, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. 😂

We had Franklin’s arrangements scattered around Sullivan County for the Arts Tour, showcasing some of our new fall styles. 🍂💐

Then I traded flowers for engines and dirt and headed to a demolition derby to cheer on my daughter’s friend. 😂

And somewhere in between all of that, I squeezed in a floral show at my wholesaler—because apparently even on my time off, I still end up looking at flowers. 🌸

Art. Flowers. Demolition derby. More flowers.

That pretty much sums up a weekend around here. 😂❤️

One of my favorite things about living in a small community is how many different things you can be part of in just a couple of days. You run into people you know everywhere you go, cheer each other on, support local events and somehow there's always something happening.

It was a busy weekend, but a really good one.

🌿 Flower Shop Friday | Fall is showing up! 🍂
Today is going to be one of those in-and-out, here-there-and-everywhere kind of days. 😂
I’ll be spending part of the day volunteering at the Bowhunters Festival, making deliveries, and dropping off arrangements at several stops for this weekend’s Arts Festival.
And those arrangements are giving you a little sneak peek at something I’ve been working on behind the scenes...

🤍Tuesday Spotlight🤍
I LOVE LOVE all the colors..they are literally all my favorite but there is just something about white and green.
I had thr opportunity to create a beautiful white arrangement for the EaglesMere Country Club, and I had to share.
There is something about an all white floral areangement that feels timeless- clean, elegant, and beautiful.
This is your reminder that Franklin's arrangements aren't just for birthdays and anniversaries. We love to create peices for events, dinners, businesses, and all the celebrations that could use something beautiful for the table.

While I am full of gratitude for all of the incredible blessings our Father has given me, but some days it just fills me all the way up until it spills over...
There are still days after 4 years that I just can not believe I get to create beautiful things that add beauty to other people's lives and special moments...I mean how many people get to say they got to create a whimsical fall floral tower this weekend?
Yesterday was full of the best things....an absolutely beautiful day....full of beautiful fall flowers for a sweet couples wedding celebration 🫶💐🍾 Congratulations Winona and Max!

🌷 Confessions of a Small Town Florist — Birthday Edition
Today’s confession…

Sometimes the best shop help is the kind you raised yourself. 😂❤️

Today is my daughter’s birthday, and since so many of you have seen her helping around the flower shop, I couldn’t let the day go by without celebrating her here too.
She has carried flowers, helped with orders, cleaned up more flower messes than she probably ever wanted to, listened to me talk endlessly about flowers, and jumped in when I needed an extra set of hands.
One of the things I love most about having a small family business is getting to share pieces of it with the people I love—and having her be part of Franklin’s makes it that much more special.
So today, the flowers can wait for just a minute while I say…
Happy Birthday to my girl! 🎂🌸
Thank you for being part of the craziness, the fun, the busy days and this little flower shop of ours.
I love you more than all the flowers. ❤️

💐 What’s in the Cooler Wednesday | Grown Locally

One of my favorite parts of this time of year is getting to work with flowers grown right here in our area. 🤍

So today I wanted to give a little shoutout to Petals & Purls, one of the local growers I've been getting some absolutely BEAUTIFUL flowers from this season.
Just look at those colors. 😍
Those rich dahlias, beautiful lisianthus, and all the little seasonal treasures that you simply don't get year-round.
There is something really special about designing with flowers that were grown locally.
And that last photo? That's some of those locally grown beauties making their way into one of our arrangements. 💐
I love knowing that when you order from Franklin's, we're able to support another small local business along the way.

Local flowers → local florist → your table.

It doesn't get much better than that. 🤍🌿

💐 Tuesday Product Spotlight | Bridal Bouquets

Friday afternoon, someone stopped in with a little bit of a last-minute request...
Could we make a bridal bouquet for Monday?
Absolutely. 🤍
And THIS is one of the things I really love about what we do.
Not every wedding needs full-service florals with months of planning. Sometimes you just need one beautiful bridal bouquet. Maybe a boutonniere or two. Maybe a few special pieces.
I love getting to do these smaller bridal orders just as much as the big ones.
We pulled this one together over the weekend, had it ready for Monday, and most importantly...
She loved, loved, LOVED it. ❤️
That's the best part.
So here's your little reminder: if you're planning a smaller wedding, elopement, courthouse ceremony, or you simply need a beautiful bouquet to carry down the aisle—you can still call your local florist.
