Plenty of great bait in the coolers !!! Not much for bird action in the bays the last few days. You need to catch it early and lucky. Mackerel a plenty out front but a little rough.

So much for the first local fish contest!
These buds made it their after school mission to take down the 9’ bait feeder surf combo first prize. Fish was caught in the backwaters of Duxbury Bay.

I cannot describe how excited they were when they came to report the catch

It’s officially on in Duxbury. I’ll be sure to report the results of our first charters scheduled for this weekend.

Bluefin seen on the pogie schools off Virginia. Seems to be setting up the same way it did last year. Expect New Jersey and Long Island beaches to get them again in May

Trout fishing will get great as the big ponds get their second and third dump
we have worms at the shop.

check the guides on your rods. Very easy and cheap repair compared to the cost of braid and lures. It’s also easy for us to do the work this time of year. Turnaround just 1-2 days now.

The recent run on 130s has left us a little short on tiagras until the beginning of the month. We are down to 3.
