Christmas in July?

How about all year!! We've added a Christmas shelf to our Wall of Colorful Smalls and you can shop red & green year round. If you haven't seen our wall organized by the colors of the rainbow, it's a treat to the eyes (and the brain, iykyk!)

Heads up, we'll be closed tomorrow, Friday, July 31. We have some meetings, appointments, and pick upstairs. We just decided to take a day to do it all.

Sorry we can't be open today. Life happens.

Here's a picture of my bathroom floor and a story I imagine. It's the 1920s. ED (or FP) and his friends were dragged along with their parents one evening to play cards in the Social Hall that existed above Brueckner Drug Store. No tables or chairs for the boys, they sat in a circle playing their own game. With a pocket knife, they tally their score.

Can you image how much trouble they got in when father saw it? If he ever did!

I love finding cool things like this in this historic building we own.

Anyway. We'll be back when we can.

Why not start Dyersville KRAZY DAYZ early!

I learned back in my old retail gift shop days about "stale dogs." Those items you thought would be a hit and flopped. The one-offs or only thing left of a hit seller. That's what KRAZY DAYZ are made for! Ditch those guys!

We have a $5 sale table cooking in the sun on the sidewalk waiting to be rescued from the heat! We're also offering all our gently used, perfectly picked graphic tees fir $3 each 2/$5 on the rack outside with more inside!

We may add to the table, so come back all week!

We've long said, "Every home must have an ugly lamp!" We saw it in a magazine. It's the truth.

This pair of fabulous turquoise green Plasto fern leaf lamps with matching gold splatter fiberglass lampshades..... I swore a lot under my breath when I saw them come in the door.

These lamps are SCREAMING!!! Come see them today!
