Fall has arrived and we're here for it!

We've cleaned up and rearranged the store and brought out all the Fall vibes! Our Local Artisans have been bringing in new items and we're just about ready to have our tea kettle ready for FREE DAILY SAMPLES of our TeaSource loose leaf tea.

Our hours might be random the next few weeks while I'm nursing my husband back to full strength. We'll try to keep you posted, but emergencies happen. If the OPEN sign is on, come on in!

Here is my WHY!

I love this man to the ends of the earth. The last 8 months have been a true test for us, especially him. The last 6 years since COVID, actually. Between cancer for both of us, knees, elbows, physical therapies... so many doctors, so many appointments. We see nurses and try to think of why we remember them and when they helped us last.

And then we add the purchase of our building and a full remodel ON TOP?!? It's been a mental and physical battle for sure!

YOU are our other WHY! Your love and support have been amazing. Thank you for letting this business be what it is. If the OPEN sign is on, we're here. When we're closed, there's reasons. Thank you for allowing our ATTEMPTED HOURS. ❤️❤️❤️ - Heidi

We had some special visitors to the shop today on their day off! Thanks for stopping in Joe Winters KCRG and Rebekah Vaughan KCRG to visit Karri and Dream Players by The Bird's Nest

Had some special guests stop by to say Thank You for the Dream Players by The Bird's Nest I made them for RAGBRAI. They are both super sweet, genuine people and fun to chat with. I think they really enjoyed looking around Savvy Salvage and hopefully we will see them again.

Christmas in July?

How about all year!! We've added a Christmas shelf to our Wall of Colorful Smalls and you can shop red & green year round. If you haven't seen our wall organized by the colors of the rainbow, it's a treat to the eyes (and the brain, iykyk!)

Heads up, we'll be closed tomorrow, Friday, July 31. We have some meetings, appointments, and pick upstairs. We just decided to take a day to do it all.
