Alliance takes the top spot in both the Male and Female divisions, and we couldn’t be more proud to be part of this family.

Being Alliance means being part of something bigger than your own academy. It’s teammates, coaches, competitors, and friends from all over the world pushing toward the same standard and representing the same values.

Big shoutout to Thomas Smith and Coach Carey Reece for representing Alliance Easley at World Masters.

They both went out there, had some great wins, some great moments, and competed hard on a huge stage.

They may not have won it all, but we couldn’t be more proud of how they represented themselves and our team.

That’s what we want Alliance Easley to be about — showing up, testing yourself, competing hard, and representing the team the right way.

Today was a great day at Alliance Easley.

We had the privilege of hosting an outstanding seminar with David Close, where we focused on blending Judo into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in a way that improves your takedowns without sacrificing position. The details, timing, and concepts he shared gave everyone practical tools they can take straight into training.

One of the best parts of Jiu-Jitsu is that there’s always something new to learn, no matter your experience level. Everyone walked away with a little more knowledge, a few new techniques, and plenty to work on.

To top it all off, we wrapped up the day with an incredible Brazilian BBQ, good food, and even better company. Days like today remind us that the friendships and community built on the mats are just as valuable as the techniques we learn.

A huge thank you to David Close for sharing his knowledge and to everyone who came out and made it such a great event. OSS! 🥋
