Can you believe it is almost back to school time?! It feels like summer just started!

It’s funny, we put so much pressure on January.
It’s the first month of the year!
We have to hit the gym, start that diet, reach our goals.
New beginnings, time to implement new ideas and strategies. Focus on growing what matters.
At the same time January is the slump after the holidays. In nature animials are hibernating.
If humans didn’t construct this reduclous environment we live in, we would be bunkering down with family. Eating food we stored in the fall. January would be a time of rest.
Out nature conflicts with our sociatal duries
So…………..
Sometimes getting out of bed is an achievement and that is ok!

I love this! It made me chuckle.
I am not Sharing it for the chuckle though.

Though I love every bit of this I want to point out the negitive language because it is something that I fall victim to.

Slacking

To me slacking is a negitive term. It means choosing to not achieve what is possible.

This picture for me needs to be resting and not slacking. Resting is important too. Feeding your hobbies is important. Taking time to yourself is important.

None of that rhymes with tasking though so…..I love it!

Came a cross this message this morning and it spoke to me.
I’ve been sick all week. Not a sick in bed but a low functioning sick.
I’ve benergy hard in myself for not getting enough done.
