Second Impressions is a for-profit business that supports nonprofit Christian ministries and other local nonprofit charities. Every donation collected is either resold and turned into revenue to help local ministries and charities, or recycled to be used for something else. We cherish our donations (blessings we call them), and do not dispose of them in the garbage (landfill) unless all other opti

ons are exhausted. Your donations help ministries with their mission of teaching families about the love of Christ, and charities that help improve the lives of others. Second Impressions pays all business taxes (federal, state, and local) and does not receive any kind of funding from the government. Our mission is to help turn donated items into revenue for charitable work.

I'm not exactly sure how to write this but here it goes.

Approximately 11 years ago while in highschool, I started volunteering at a small business.

Almost exactly 9 years ago I accepted the job as manager at a small business.

2,477 days ago I signed some paperwork and became the owner of said small business. That business was Second Impressions. To say that that was life changing is the understatement of the century.

In exactly 21 days I will be closing this chapter that has been over a decade in the making.

I'm thankful for these past years, the friendships, the lessons learned, the incredible support from literally everyone in my life, and the support I've been able to give back to the community. I've been at a total loss for words as I've tried to write this post over the last couple weeks (hence not announcing this until now). With all of that being said Second Impressions Thrift Store will be closing it's doors on December 21st 2024. I want to thank everyone who has shopped, donated, and just come in to say hello over the years! You all have been my world for these past years and for that I will be forever grateful.
