At Valley Preferred Cycling Center, our TeamBSR Junior Track Nationals crew showed what happens when young riders are backed by a whole community.

They climbed podiums, moved up the standings, and carried themselves with the focus, joy, and grit that make this team special.

TeamBSR is an intergenerational racing team supported by Bike & Sol and a committed group of sponsors. From the first lap to the last medal, this is movement restored; across generations, on the track, and in one another.

Restoring movement starts with the hands that build and the minds that pass it down. Here in the workshop, Jacob on the right and Romeo are dialed in at the truing stand. Jacob started with us as a student years ago and still shows up on weekdays to volunteer, while Romeo has been part of the Bike and Sol family since his middle school days. Between them, there are years of mechanics experience under one roof, and today Jacob is passing that craft right down to Romeo. This is what community looks like in real time.

Restoring movement starts somewhere. Eleven years ago, this little shed was where it all began: simple tools, warm workshop light, and an unwavering belief in community. This blue bike was the very first one we ever sold to the public. A father made the trip all the way from Harrisburg to buy it for his daughter because it was the exact model he grew up riding. Today, looking back at how far we have come: building a full shop, a racing team, and supporting riders across three counties: we are endlessly grateful. Who here remembers bringing their bike into the shed for a tune-up back in the early days?
