Let me set the scene. Peak Elizabeth Holmes. Black turtleneck. Billionaire. Genius. Silicon Valley’s golden girl. The moment I walked into that building, something felt wrong. They told me I couldn’t bring my phone inside. Naturally, I did.

You may not know this about me, but before I told stories through chocolate, I was a film and television producer.

And I was the kind of producer who would hang onto a cinematographer hanging out of a moving car as we sped across a border because we needed the shot. (I think this quality also makes me a great entrepreneur)

So when someone told me I absolutely could not bring a phone inside Theranos, I brought a phone inside Theranos.

And I’m very glad I did.

I have a lot of stories.

I make chocolate for pleasure. Every bar is full of organic, science backed ingredients. Third party tested. It not easy to keep in stock but it’s my life’s work to keep them and you coming. Solo, partner, many partners…all the partners. ❤️
