We’re bringing a little bonsai beauty to Plantella! Raices Son Raices Bonsai will be joining us with a display of their incredible trees for you to admire up close this weekend at Plantella: A Bristol Expo.

This thing of beauty is Plantella ready.
Juniper Bonsai, 3-5 years old, I’ve had it 2+ years myself.
She got a new pot, all fresh soil and drainage layer; and her “hair did”.
Now the question is, are you ready for this?
FYI: she is a conifer, aka evergreen and as such, she’s an outdoor only tree.
Being it inside and it will die.
So, are you ready?
Ask me how to take of her during the cold winter months.

Today is the day!! Join us from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. at DePietro Park (396 Forbes St) for our Pollinator Awareness and Community Event!

We have so much going on: Food trucks, vendors, bounce houses, farmers, face painting, crafts, beekeepers, and MORE! Come out and spend the afternoon with us! Bring your family and have a picnic lunch! The weather is perfect to fly a kite, too!

Parking will be at Sunset Ridge Middle School, across the street from the park, and the East Hartford Police Department will be staffed at the crosswalk for safety. Limited handicapped parking is available at the park itself.

We hope to see you there on this gorgeous day!
