BONITA PIZZA IS COMING TO DOWNTOWN HEMET!

We’re excited to announce that Bonita Pizza will be serving their incredible wood-fired pizzas every Friday and Saturday evening at 135 E. Florida Ave. on the beautiful southwest corner of Harvard & Florida in Downtown Hemet!

This is just the beginning of something special. Our official Food Truck Kickoff will be Saturday, August 1st, but we’re getting started now and we’d love your support as we build momentum.

Enjoy your pizza on our shaded patio, relax on the green lawn beneath the palm trees, and help us create a fun new gathering place for our community.

And there’s more on the way! We’re currently working with several other amazing vendors, including taco, BBQ, birria, and Persian cuisine, with even more food trucks hopefully joining us soon.

🚨 NOW HIRING: DOWNTOWN HEMET FARMERS MARKET MANAGER 🚨

Are you organized, outgoing, passionate about your community, and know your way around social media?

The Downtown Hemet Farmers Market is looking for a motivated Market Manager to help us grow one of Downtown Hemet’s longest-running community events. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys networking, event planning, marketing, and making a real impact in the community.

Responsibilities include:

✅ Managing our social media presence and community engagement.
✅ Recruiting vendors, food trucks, sponsors, entertainers, and community partners.
✅ Keeping current with all required State and Riverside County forms, permits, fees, and deadlines, including Agricultural and Environmental Health requirements.
✅ Coordinating with the City of Hemet to ensure all required permits and approvals are in place.
✅ Organizing the weekly vendor layout so the market map is finalized before each Saturday market.
✅ Helping plan and coordinate our signature annual events, including:
• Downtown Christmas Tree Lighting
• Chalktober
• Chalk Hop (Easter)

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has experience with social media and marketing.
• Is highly organized and dependable.
• Has strong networking and people skills.
• Loves community events and supporting local businesses.
• Can think creatively and help us continue growing.

Bonus points if you’re:
🎨 An artist
🎵 A musician
⛪ Active in the community or your local church
🤝 Already well connected throughout the San Jacinto Valley

Compensation

✔ Two FREE vendor spaces every Saturday (a $50 weekly value).
✔ A performance-based percentage of market profits, with greater earning potential as the market continues to grow.
✔ Office space is available on-site at the market for someone who wants a dedicated place to work and help build the organization.

Our success and development of the downtown irritated Simon Chu and ruined his plans of driving down property values in downtown Hemet. Simon directed former Code Enforcement officer Lionel Martinez to illegally shut down our very prosperous food trucks. After Lionel was fired the rest of the corrupt city staff worked to divert Food Trucks and Food Vendors to the fraudulent Wanderlust Food Truck Fest that has now been exposed as fraudulent. No encroachment permits, no insurance indemnifying the city, and on top of that the city waived fees and donated close to $100,000 in public work hours and materials. After personally financing over 500 events in the downtown area this is how much the city has contributed: ZERO. In fact the city has worked against every effort to better the downtown, whether it’s the kitchen grant, facade grant, etc… All smoke and mirrors to enrich Lori VanArsdale’s friends.
