While we’ve been sharing updates on the new 308 round, we’ve also been putting a lot of time into this one.

Our new 444 Marlin load is built for modern single-shot rifles and loaded with our all-copper 225gr HV bullet in Starline Brass.

A small milestone for us.

This is the first production run featuring our new 132gr AL-HV. It’s been a lot of work to get to this point, and we’re grateful for all the support along the way.

A 50 yard 308 Wi******er impact into 10% ballistic gel shows exactly what our 132gr AL-HV is built to do.

Our new AL-HV line was engineered to bridge the terminal performance gap between bonded and traditional copper rifle bullets, combining rapid expansion with the deep pe*******on and weight retention expected from an all-copper design.

This design was developed through extensive testing and a lot of refinement.

The 132gr AL-HV is now part of our lineup.

In the last reel, we showed the recovered bullet from our minimum-velocity expansion test at roughly 1,525 fps. This time, we’re showing the other end of the spectrum.

Our new 30 cal 132 grain AL-HV was tested from a 308Win at 50 yards and impacted at roughly 2,915 fps, delivering about 2,500 ft-lbs of energy.

• 28” through ballistics gel 
• 100% weight retention (minus the aluminum tip)

Engineered to withstand high-energy, close-range impacts while expanding reliably at lower impact velocities. This design helps bridge the terminal ballistics gap between copper bullets and bonded bullets.

This is our 132 grain 30 caliber prototype recovered from a 10% gel block after impact at 1,525 fps.

With a 3,050 fps muzzle velocity out of the 308, that’s roughly equivalent to impact at 675 yards, carrying about 700 ft-lbs of energy. This test was done to verify reliable expansion at the bullet’s minimum intended expansion velocity.

The recovered bullet measured 1.5× its original diameter, right where we designed it to be at this velocity.

While this test represents a 675-yard impact, ethical shots should always be limited to the distance where you’re confident.

We’ve been sharing a lot of these because we want to show the results as they happen. This 30 cal prototype continues to deliver consistent expansion through our testing.
