Happy Fall from Willow Barn Designs! 🍂

I hope everyone had a wonderful summer filled with sunshine, family, friends, and lots of special memories!

I spent much of my summer enjoying our beautiful new grandson. ❀ I never knew it was possible to feel so much love for someone other than your own children. I didn’t want to miss a single moment of these precious first few months, and I am so grateful I had the opportunity to soak it all in.

At the same time, our weekends were filled with destination weddings throughout New England and along the East Coast. Being such an important part of our couples’ special days is something I truly treasure. Every wedding is unique, and I feel so fortunate that our couples trust us to help bring their visions to life.

We are also busy working on our new Willow Barn Designs website, which will feature beautiful photos from our weddings, along with testimonials and kind words from the couples we’ve had the pleasure of working with. We can’t wait to share it with you!

🌿 Our Floral Studio is coming together!

We are creating a space where we’ll be able to offer floral-arranging classes, wreath-making workshops, holiday centerpiece classes, and other fun, interactive events throughout the year. We are so excited to have a place where we can share our love of flowers with the community.

🌾 The Little Flower Truck has also been busy popping up at fall events throughout New England! We’ll be bringing a bright and vibrant selection of seasonal blooms so you can create your very own bouquet.

Come visit us at The Apple Place’s annual Apple Fest on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

🏡 We are especially excited to announce that Willow Barn Designs has been asked to be one of the featured florists for the Friends of Storrs Library “Homes Through the Centuries” Tour on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We are honored to be part of such a wonderful local event!

🍎 And, of course, we are so excited to get back into the store!

Our doors officially reopen for the fall on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and our Fall Sip & Shop will be held on Sunday, October 4 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Come visit us for c***r, donuts, fall flowers, seasonal dĂ©cor, and some wonderful guest vendors joining us throughout the weekend. We can’t wait to see everyone again!

Good Morning!

We hope you're having a wonderful summer! It's been an incredibly busy season at Willow Barn Designs, filled with weddings, bridal and baby showers, private events, and floral installations throughout the Northeast.

Because of our busy event schedule, our retail store will be open by appointment and chance openings only during July and August. If you'd like to shop for fresh flowers, gifts, plants, or home décor, simply call or text me at 413-301-2929. If I'm available, I'd be happy to meet you at the shop!

We're also excited to announce our first BIG Summer Tent Sale! We'll be making room for beautiful new everyday collections and fall décor, and several amazing local vendors will be joining us. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for dates and details. If you're a small business interested in participating, we'd love to hear from you!

We also have some exciting news—we're expanding! Willow Barn Designs florals are coming back to where it all began...our barn! We're creating a dedicated floral studio where we'll host floral design classes, prepare our new floral subscription service, and design for weddings, events, and everyday arrangements. We'll also have a new walk-in floral cooler, allowing us to offer an even larger selection of fresh flowers and convenient grab-and-go bouquets.

Don't worry—we're not going anywhere! We'll continue to carry fresh flowers and plants in the store. This new space simply gives us the room we need to grow our floral business while creating a beautiful place to host classes and workshops. It also allows us to fill the retail store with even more beautiful seasonal and everyday home dĂ©cor and unique gifts.

This summer has been especially meaningful as we've welcomed our very first grandchild into our family. We've cherished every moment with him while continuing to do what we love—creating beautiful flowers for all of life's special occasions.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your continued support. Whether you've trusted us with your wedding, celebrated a special occasion, honored a loved one, or simply stopped in to shop, you've become part of the Willow Barn Designs family.

Our weddings this past weekend celebrated two beautiful couples, each with their own unique vision.

Our first couple Marco & Kathryn Basile held their reception at Le Chateau Douillet. Their florals were designed to feel as though they had been freshly gathered from an English garden. Soft tones of blush pink, peach, pale blue, and white filled the space beautifully. Pale blue linens, white wicker accents, lace overlays, and floral chandeliers completed the romantic vision.

Our second couple, Michael & Allison Prairie, celebrated their wedding at Greentree Country Club in New Rochelle, NY. Their wedding flowers featured crisp white florals accented with touches of blue delphinium and hydrangea. White taper candles and floating candles completed the elegant tablescape, creating a timeless and sophisticated atmosphere.
