✨ Let us reintroduce ourselves ✨

Whether you’ve been following us from the beginning or you just recently found our little corner of East Moline, we’re so glad you’re here. 🤍

We’re Lily & Aster Events - an intimate event venue located inside a beautiful historic library, created to be the backdrop for life’s moments worth celebrating.

We've been a little absent from Social Media lately - and someone brought it to my attention that they had a hard time finding pictures of our space! I've grabbed a handful of photos of the venue dressed up and down, so you can get the best idea of what your dream event could look like.

From bridal and baby showers to birthdays, graduations, weddings, celebrations of life, corporate events and everything in between, we’ve had the privilege of watching this space come to life in so many different ways.

Lily & Aster seats up to 96 people, but looks absolutely perfect with 50 people, too! We have a kitchenette including a refrigerator/freezer, a sink, and a microwave. We have two family bathrooms (both with changing tables). Lily & Aster also offers off-street parking!

Lily & Aster is staffed by a small, amazing team of women that genuinely LOVES being part of your events. Your event will be staffed by at least one staff member that assists with setup & cleanup, and is just a couple of steps away during your party. We're here to answer questions, help with details, cheer on your ideas and make hosting your event feel a little easier.

KWQC is running a story that mentions our event venue having extensive damages due to a singular vehicle crash into the building.

While this happened to the building our venue is in, fortunately, our venue does not have any damages. This happened in the back part of the building where the railroad club houses the model railroad.

We are happy that no one was majorly injured, our venue is okay, and no one was in the building at the time of the crash.

We are still looking for books! If you need a good time to drop off - please DM us! Our hours are different this week with the holiday!

We have volunteered to be a “drop spot” for the Miss Illinois/Miss Iowa Youth community book drive!

We will have a box in our elevator lobby (closest entrance to the parking lot) from now until July 6th to donate new or gently used children’s & young adult books.

All books collected will be donated throughout the Iowa & Illinois community to share the love of reading to as many children as we can!

Our elevator lobby is open Monday evenings from about 4 PM until 7 PM, as well as weekends during events. If you would like to DM us to get a better look on when to drop off - that’s perfect too! We will let staff know when to expect you so we can ensure the door is unlocked.

If you have books you would like to donate - but do not have the time or means to visit L&A - please reach out - my daughter and I would be happy to come & collect them!

Give yourself more time to set up than you expect, we are here to help, but setup takes longer than you would think! ⏰

To celebrate graduation season being underway, we are offering $50 off any rental from May 21st through June 27th, 2027 if booked this month (June 2026)!
