Antonio’s dedication to music has truly grown over the past 13 years of study at Munro Music! It has been such a pleasure watching him flourish as a musician under the guidance of our teacher, Chris D.

The skills he has developed here, along with his dedication to practicing at home, have helped him build the strong work ethic he has carried with him to performance spaces across Long Island, including UBS Arena.

Now, Antonio is heading off to study classical bass performance at Mannes School of Music in NYC! You may have also seen him working with us behind the counter at the store!

We’re truly going to miss having Antonio here, but we wish him nothing but the very best as he continues his musical journey. We can’t wait to see where his talent and dedication take him!

Check out the work done on one of our customers Martin 12 String Acoustic from our guitar repair man Keith!

He adjusted the fret slots on the nut of the guitar. As well as drilling & tapering to fit an end pin. Now she’s all ready to play some Zeppelin!

Cheers to Lauren Jackson for graduating HS this year and choosing University of Delaware for her next adventure!

Lauren graduated last month and will be attending the University of Delaware with an undeclared major. She started at Munro Music at age 5 and took lessons here for nearly 13 years with several different teachers, studying piano, guitar, ukulele, violin, and flute. Notably, she studied flute with Jeff Mitchell for almost 10 of those years.

Jeff has been part of our teaching team for several decades and is a highly accomplished woodwind teacher and performer.

The Munro Music Team here knows that she will continue to succeed in all that she sets out to accomplish from her proven dedication and hard work she has demonstrated in music as well.
