This vintage two-tone stoneware jug is a 5-gallon piece, likely manufactured by the Western Stoneware Company in Monmouth, Illinois, during the 1920s or 1930s. It features a Bristol-slip (cream) bottom and Albany-slip (brown) top, characteristic of early 20th-century antique liquor or moonshine jugs. I have hand painted it with a summer scene trying to feature a home stead and neighborhood. This is a rare jug! Mint condition and if interested please message me. Thanks! 😊
