We are going full Halloween over here

October is packed with spooky, creative fun! Whether you’re looking for something for the kids on a day off from school, a fun Halloween activity, or a chance to learn a new fiber-art skill, we’ve got plenty happening at The Felted Fox this month.

We’ve got lots of hands-on fun planned for our younger crafters this month!

School’s Out Camp
Friday, October 9 & Monday, October 12 | 9:00 AM–12:30 PM | $55
No school? Come craft with us! Our School’s Out Camps give kids a fun morning filled with creative projects, activities, and plenty of crafty fun. (Drop-off event, snack included)

🧶 Kids Crochet Club
Friday, October 9 | 6:00–8:00 PM | $45
Our monthly crochet club is back! Kids will work on a fun project, learn new stitches and techniques, build their crochet skills and confidence, and enjoy some time to socialize. All supplies and a take-home project are included. Kids should have completed our Beginner Crochet class or have equivalent crochet experience. (Drop-off event)

🏘️ Halloween Paper Village
Saturday, October 10 | 12:00–2:00 PM | $15
Create your own spooky little paper village! We'll provide the crayons, colored pencils and markers and you'll get your own kit with 3 pages of pieces to color, cut and create your own Halloween Paper Village. Once colored, the pieces pop up to create a lively little street scene where trick-or-treaters roam, bats hang out, and pumpkins line every corner.

🎃 Kids Night Out
Friday, October 16 | 5:30–8:30 PM | $40
Drop the kids off for an evening of crafts, pizza, and Halloween fun while you enjoy a few kid-free hours! It’s the perfect chance for a date night, errands, or simply some quiet time. (Drop-off event)

🌱 Spooky Succulent Gardens
Saturday, October 17 | 12:00–2:00 PM | $20
Create a tiny Halloween garden in a Halloween-themed mug! Design your own succulent arrangement and add spooky touches like ghosts, pumpkins, and skulls. A fun, family-friendly activity for crafters of all ages!

Needle Felting Workshop: Quaint Framed Ghost
Saturday, October 3 | Time TBD | $35
Get into spooky season with a charming needle felting project! In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll create a framed needle-felted ghost with your choice of accents.

🧶 Beginner Crochet Class
Tuesdays, October 13 & 20 | 6:00–8:00 PM | $65
Ready to learn how to crochet? This two-class series will teach you the basics and give you the skills and confidence to start making your own projects.

🎃 Halloween Kinusaiga
Sunday, October 18 | 5:00–7:00 PM | $25
Create a spooky Halloween design using the Japanese fabric-art technique of kinusaiga. Choose between pumpkin and black cat design, choose your fabrics and transform a pre-cut design into a unique piece of Halloween décor.

Adult Community Event

Sunday Stitch Social — Adults Only
Sunday, October 4 | 5:00–7:00 PM | FREE
Bring your crochet, knitting, embroidery, sewing—or whatever crafty project you’re working on, or find a new project in the shop! BYO food and drink, create, chat, and enjoy a relaxing Sunday with fellow makers (and a few resident cats).
