We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our friend and FarleyCon 2023 guest, Mike McFarland.

We were honored to welcome Mike to FarleyCon in 2023 and to give our attendees the opportunity to meet the incredibly talented man behind so many memorable characters and productions.

Mike made a lasting impact on the anime community through his work as a voice actor, director, writer, and mentor. We are grateful that he shared his time and talents with us and became a part of FarleyCon's history.

Our thoughts and condolences are with Mike's family, friends, colleagues, and the countless fans whose lives he touched.

Thank you for the memories, Mike. You will be missed, but never forgotten.

Rest in peace, Mike McFarland. ❤️

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Peter Cullen, the legendary voice of Optimus Prime.

A few years ago in Knoxville, we happened to walk by while Peter was having dinner on the patio with our friends Brittany and Michael Watkins during Fanboy Expo. They stopped us, and we had the chance to talk with Peter for a few minutes. The entire time, one thought kept running through my head: I’m having a conversation with Optimus Prime.

This past March, we were fortunate enough to meet Peter again, along with Frank Welker, and get a photo with them. Both were incredibly kind. Peter grabbed my wife Jennifer and said, “You stand right here.” It was a small moment, but one we’ll never forget.

This has been a tough week.

Rest in peace, Peter Cullen.

Till all are one.
