For the past two and a half days, Chris and Ryan have been working on Johnson organ, op. 787, a reverse tracker of nineteen stops, twenty one ranks. The church recently had a new roof installed, which caused a large chunk of plaster to fall from the ceiling above the organ on to the Great pipework. We removed all of the pipework from the Great, carried out a few minor repairs, cleaned each pipe, repaired the ceiling, cleaned the Great windchest, replanted all of the pipework, and tuned the entire instrument. It has been a pleasure to work on this fine instrument and we are delighted to know the church truly appreciates their historic instrument.

1894 Morey & Barnes update; failed slider seal rings replaced, all pipes, toe boards, sliders, tables cleaned. Time for reassembly.

Day Two! Remediation & Cleaning of an 1894 Morey & Barnes Tracker. All pipes were removed for cleaning yesterday. Today we start removing slider seal rings.
