Van Well Nursery

In 1973, Van Well Nursery built its first storage building in East Wenatchee. That year we started a tradition of holding a potluck with our employees. The nursery furnished the drinks and fried chicken. Sadly is was tradition that faded with time. In our final days of operation, we decided to revive it to honor the nursery's 80th Anniversary and our retirement. In addition to KFC, we added Tacos Moi (operated by nursery foreman Moises Gonzalez). We had a great time with employees and family. Thank you to Gina Alvarado and her crew for putting it all together.

Well, folks, it's official. We are closing after 80 years. Thank you so much for your support and friendship.

The ladies of our crew hosted a baby shower luncheon today for our HR Manager Cynthia, who will welcome her third child next month. Congratulations to Cynthia and Armando.
