Welcome to JT's Trains and Stuff, an online model train store serving the ON30, On18 and HOn30 modeling communities by producing our unique line of 3D printed rolling stock kits. Boxcars, reefers, tank cars, gondolas, flat cars, cabooses and more for your narrow gauge kitbashing and modeling needs. Our main focus is to offer models that are freelance designs based on what you may find on backwoods

shortlines, mines, logging, etc. Places where the rolling stock is crude yet functional, and also well-used. We refer to our kits as "Blank Canvas Kits", meaning that they give you the basic foundation to build your custom cars from. You can truly customize what you want in your models.

With some slight modifications (explained on the eBay listing) it could also use a 11-105/106/107 8-wheel chassis.

NEW IN HOn30! Inspired by the very unusual and unique Sentinel vertical boiler chain-drive steam locomotive. Designed for the Kato 11-109 chassis (not included).

Built by Sentinel Waggon Works in Shrewsbury, England...they utilized vertical boilers and chain-drives instead of traditional side-rods. Because the chain-drive setup eliminated the heavy counterweights of standard steam engines, these locomotives could operate on lighter, less expensive track without damaging the rails. They could also run for long periods without taking on water or coal, often operated by just a single driver.

OK On18 and HOn30 people! With the release of the new #2 fireless steam loco kits, I've decided to change the look of the #1 kits a little. I've added a dome front to the pressure vessel and slightly changed the sand and steam dome sizes. I think it makes them look more like the typical fireless steam locos that you'd know.

More new motive power options for your HOn30 and On18 rosters! Here's my #2 fireless loco kits for both scales.

Fireless steam locos used a boiler tank to store pressurized steam and superheated water instead of having a boiler/firebox to generate its own steam. These unique little steamers were charged as needed from a stationary boiler at whatever industry it was being used for.

There are prototypes that had both front and rear mounted cylinders. This kit can model either version by just reversing the way the shell is snapped onto the chassis with the installed side frames (see pics).

Designed to drop onto the Kato 11-109 Pocket Line 4 wheel powered chassis (preferred chassis). It can use similar N scale chassis as well.

By request, a small addition to my HOn30 stuff...resin 3D printed smokebox fronts for the Bachmann Thomas and Friends HOn30 RHENEAS and SKARLOEY narrow gauge steam locomotives. Just carefully remove the loco faces by prying the edge with a small flat head screwdriver, exacto blade, etc. Then you just line up the new smokebox front and glue into place.

Sold in PAIRS as well as a SET of 1x each.

*Note- I've been told the RHENEAS version can work for PETER SAM as well. Not sure if there's any modifications needed.*
