The Spin by Faith Gardner — ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Spin pulled me in right from the beginning. The opening does a great job of creating that uneasy, “something is definitely not right here” feeling, and from there, the story takes you through plenty of twists and turns that kept me interested.

I didn’t give this one three stars because it was bad—in fact, there were quite a few things I enjoyed. My biggest issue was the ending. It left me wanting more and, honestly, a little unsatisfied. I also found myself wishing we got more clarity surrounding the main character’s mental health struggles. We’re left wondering what exactly is causing some of the issues she’s experiencing, and I wanted more answers by the time I reached the final page.

That said, the twists kept things moving, the beginning was strong, and there was enough mystery to keep me turning the pages. I just needed the ending to give me a little more closure.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ — An intriguing psychological thriller with plenty of twists, but the ending left me wanting more.

Book vs. Movie: The Princess Bride ⚔️📖🎬

As you wish… but I’m going to say it: the movie is one of those rare cases where the adaptation is just as magical as the book. 🥹

The book has the wit, adventure, romance, and ridiculousness we love—but the movie? ICONIC. The cast, the quotes, the sword fights, the humor… it’s practically perfect. And somehow, even after all these years, it still holds up. 💕✨

Verdict: Movie wins this one—but the book is absolutely worth reading.
