Memorial of St. Bonaventure — July 15
Today, the Church honors St. Bonaventure, Doctor of the Church. As leader of the Franciscan Order, he preserved Francis's story for the world — and taught that creation itself is a pathway to God, with every created thing inviting the soul upward.
It's a vision that shapes all we hope to offer at St. Francis Spirituality & Retreat Center: a place of beauty, peace, and prayer where hearts are drawn closer to God.

🇺🇸 A Prayerful Fourth of July

As we celebrate Independence Day and the 250th anniversary of the United States of America, we give thanks to God for the blessings of freedom and faith, and for the many sacrifices that have shaped our nation.

May this historic year be a time of prayer for our country. Through the intercession of Saint Francis of Assisi, may we become instruments of peace, unity, healing, and hope.
