No-Bake Orange Creamsicle Truffles
Ingredients:
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
3 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon orange zest
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
2 cups white chocolate chips
Orange sprinkles or additional zest (for garnish)
Directions:
Beat Cream Cheese: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
Add Powdered Sugar: Gradually incorporate the powdered sugar, mixing until fully combined and smooth.
Add Flavors: Stir in the vanilla extract, orange zest, and fresh orange juice until well blended.
Chill Mixture: Refrigerate the mixture for about 1 hour, or until firm enough to shape into balls.
Shape Truffles: Use a small cookie scoop or spoon to form the mixture into 1-inch balls, placing them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Freeze: Freeze the truffles for at least 30 minutes until firm.
Melt Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
Dip Truffles: Dip each truffle into the melted white chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off before placing them back on the parchment paper.
Garnish: While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the truffles with orange sprinkles or additional zest for decoration.
Set and Serve: Refrigerate the truffles until the chocolate is set, about 10 minutes.
