First off I just want to wish everyone a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend. In addition I would like to thank all those men and women who have served in the past and present and to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice to keep this nation free. Remember them tomorrow .
I did get a chance to shoot the Pluto 9 silencer on 4 different . Videos will be up soon, as most of you who know me, you also know I am not a tech guy. My son who did the videos just started a new job so he has not gotten the videos posted yet.
However I can tell you that the IWI Massada full size and the Berreta 80x Tactical ran perfect. The CZ P10c and the Berreta APX Tactical compact were single shot pistols. In addition I found that you could shoot without your hearing gear. That would save your ears somewhat in a self defense situation. Now for general range use you should always use hearing protection.
Again have a safe weekend and remember all those who gave their lives in defending this great nation.

This morning just a couple of new projects that I am getting ready to start on. The first one is a PSA Guardsman -15 factory SBR. It came with a really nice nickle boron flat trigger and a 10.3 inch barrel with a chrome lined barrel. Now it sports an FRT trigger system and a AB A10 Warthog suppressor in 5.56. The next photo is a IWI Massada 4.6 inch 9mm pistol with threaded barrel and a Pluto 9 , 3D printed titanium can which does not need a booster. 2.5 ounces in weight and 4.5 inches long. I also have a CZ P10 with threaded barrel coming in next week. I have about 4 different pistols lined up to see how the can works. Video of the pistol can will becoming soon. Have a safe and happy mother's Day weekend.

These AR 15 rifles and pistols have been what I have been working on all winter, not the finishes, all are not equipped with different FRT trigger systems. All have been tested down to 5 degree temps. All work fantastic. Let's just say I learned a lot. For the next few months I will work on some other platforms including AK and AR 9 and the MP 5. In several weeks I will have a video at the shop showing all four shooting at the range. If you have questions come see me. P.S. the one on the bottom is the fastest shooting semi that I have shot. Enjoy the photos.

RCN is updating the system, so currently no phone or Internet at the shop since 7:30 am this morning. I can do firearm transfers over the cell phone so you can still come by to pickup fi****ms.

Good morning, I have a few fi****ms to talk about and some changes to my cerakote business. Fi****ms first, the AR pistol in the back round is the PSA DOE 300 ACC Blackout with brace and a Anthem K2 7.62 can. Shoots nice, maybe a FRT trigger is needed. More to come on that project later because I am just getting started on that one.
Second is the pistol on the left. It's Fusion Fi****ms XP PRO 9mm with a comped and ported barrel. It takes G***k mags. It also came with 2 metal optic plates with the rear sight. On Saturday mag dumped 300 rounds of assorted 9 mm using the assorted mags in picture. Trigger pull is a little under 4 lbs , shoots fantastic, no recoil.
The pistol in the middle is the Sig Axe Luxe P365 380 ACP comp. This pistol is finicky one does not care for training ball ammo 980 fps. In addition it stove pipe a lot in the first 200 rounds. In the picture you see all the carry ammo that I ran though it on Sat, it runs great on zippy self defense ammo. The hottest 380 round that I ran thru it was 1400 fps. It will get the job done as a smaller carry gun . However it weighs more the frame is metal, comp does it's job well.
The last pistol on the right is the Kimber CDS9 , holds 16 rounds of 9 mm ,weight is light. This was a factory lemon from the start , it had multiple problems. Kimber did an excellent job of making things right. I put 400 rounds thru it trouble free and then sent it to DSCGunworks in Michigan for a V-6 barrel and slide porting job. It's a great combat shooting pistol, I carry it every day.
Last thing up , from now on c
Ceracote work will begin March 1st and end on Nov 30th each year. Just to let you know right now I will most likely retire from Cerakote work at age 67, that's two years from now. However I plan on keeping my FFL and SOT licenses till I am 75. My plan is to do transfers till then. Last thanks for your business now and in the future.

Memorial Day is a time to remember all those who served, fought , and died to keep this country free , to preserve our rights, our way of life and our hopes for a better future. I was away for ten plus days, sorry for that , but in this day and age it is not wise to post anything online about being away from home. My wife and I along with my brother and his wife took vacation in Hawaii. We spent our time on our first day in Hawaii at the US Arizona Memorial and at the Punch Bowl National Cemetery to pay our respects. Tomorrow I will get back to business, deliveries should start arriving, and I will begin contacting everyone who spoke to my son David. Again today should remain a day to reflect on all of those who died serving this great country.

Today I finally felt good enough to go out to the range and the sun was actually out. On the menu was testing two S&W 30 Super Carry pistols, a Shield Plus 17 rounds with 1 in the chamber and the Equalizer Shield with 11 round total capacity. I also took a 9mm Equalizer and. S&W custom shop ez shield in 380 for comparison. The 30 Super Carry has got some zip and power behind it. The 3.1 inch Shield Plus was tad heavy on recoil and the stock trigger is nothing to write home about. This one is optic ready, equipped with night sights and only cost me 299.00. The Equalizer model has a heavier slide, racks real easy and has hammer fired system that's not bad. Recoil was less as well. Cost on it was 279.00. I had a 9mm Equalizer with me as well ,recoil wise it was about the same as the 30 Super Carry Equalizer model. The 380 pistol is of course the easiest to shoot and no real recoil to it. The first three pistols are part of ten that I am going to customize this year. The will get barrel and slide porting to reduce recoil for faster follow up shots, trigger work and some will get better sights. The rest of the ten will include some Sigs, CZ's, Springfield Armory, Steyr and G***k pistols. Some photos of the test pistols used today.
