Ok folks I have an update on my Retro Billet rims with the red line tires. In the midst of my family life and regular 9-5 I’ve been trying to work out an issue with the tire and red line insert. Initially the fit was snug and perfect, but I found it cumbersome to assemble. I added some clearance but the fit looked wonky. Ultimately I won’t list a product my customers may find difficult or aggravating. I’d rather my products be the highlight of the build. My goals has always been to design a scale model upgrade in such a way that it’s easy to detail and add realism and if something doesn’t seem right to me, it won’t be right for my customers. So I just ask for a little more patience while I work this little monkey wrench out. I’ll

One company, 2 specialized brands. AMP BuildWorks is my physical 3d printed parts, where I offer professional resin 3d scale model upgrades. AMP FileWorks is my new STL file store. Here, I’ll post about my new STL file releases and where to get them. But I’m doing something a little different. My files will be sold with a commercial use license to sell the 3d prints. Here’s the deal- when you buy my files from my new Etsy store, you get full commercial rights to sell the prints (you may NOT redistribute, share or sell the files). You can sell online, to stores, friends…etc and you do NOT need to report any royalties, earnings…etc to me. These Alpha One’s are an absolute dream to use. I had to go with red beadlocks to match the red rear stripe. I designed these to be easy to detail and look as realistic as possible without having to be a pro builder. This is all just spray paint and acrylic markers. My hopes is the younger more novice generation gets ahold of these, I think they’d be a big confidence booster for their builds. Next I’ll get the fronts done and setup the stance. Build on!

It’s pretty much known, if you build model cars, you’ve built the real thing at one point. I couldn’t leave well enough alone, case in point my 1966 Skylark and my then pregnant wife complaining about the Crow racing seatbelts lol. Nothing close to original, she’s sitting on a stage 4 UMI Pro-touring suspension, LS powered, shaved body moldings and trim…etc, all work done by me in my garage. Fun but WAY too expensive anymore. Model cars help with that build fix especially when the 1:1 gets stalled, and right now the ‘Lark is stalled on a repaint.

Dang a good fit on the first iteration lol. I can slam the car now, last pic is as low as I can go.
