We place a blank canvas inside a sealed Ziploc bag with colorful, non-toxic paint. We smear delicious, dog-safe peanut butter on the outside of the bag. For 15 wonderful years, Sweeties Downeast has had the absolute sweetest job in the world! 🍭 But even the best stories need a new chapter, and our head candy lover is ready to officially retire.
Both the Sweeties Downeast business and our historic downtown building at 74- 80 Water Street are officially looking for their next caretakers! While we are stepping down after this summer, our biggest wish is for this magical little shop to keep being the sweetest spot in Eastport.
We are looking for the perfect dreamer to pass our keys to! If you have ever wanted to own a whimsical candy shop and be our community's favorite place for kids of all ages, we would love to chat. Thank you for 15 years of pure magic! ✨💖
