A few years back I started down the rabbit hole of heavy arrows and building the perfect flying arrow, they fly like lawn darts.
Sure, these builds aren't for everybody. Some folks like speed demon arrows with a big cutting mechanical broadhead and that's okay, but what happens when you catch those pesky shoulder bones by "accident"? You can go buy your dozen of generic arrows from the bow shop and have 9/12 work okay and throw the others out.
After building a dozen or so sets of these arrows and testing, tinkering and messing with different weights, I'm confident in saying, FOC really matters when it comes to perfect arrow flight. FOC is utilizing the front of the arrow with the most weight up front that the shaft will allow. This helps with pe*******on (for those pesky shoulder bones) and makes for a sweet flying arrow.
If you're happy with your lightweight mechanical set of arrows, then these aren't for you. If you're looking to maximize your bows potential with great arrow flight, let's build you a set.
