I think a lot of flooring contractors—and tradespeople in general—get themselves into trouble by calling themselves "the best."

When a homeowner says, "I hear you're the best," I always answer:

"There are a lot of floor guys who are just as good as I am. I just haven't found one who's better."

Confidence is earned. Arrogance is claimed

By the time you pay for a hotel the oil cost more than waterborne. It's hard to live in the house when applying oil polyurethane.
