We are THREE days into National Negroni for a Cause Week!

Established in 2013, this event merges cocktail culture with philanthropy. The initiative, to date, has raised over 5 million dollars globally, for various charities.

The typical, equal-parts ratio of Gin, Sweet Vermouth and Campari is so fail proof that Anthony Bourdain said, "Pretty much any chimpanzee can make this drink."

Our favorite Negroni riffs on the traditional and adds two additional, locally-crafted products: Waterpocket Distillery's Toadstool Notom Amaro and Honest John Bitters's Black Walnut Bitters. We are open Sundays 12-5 and have a tour at 3. Visit some local businesses. Enjoy the vendors over by the coffee shop. Grab lunch. Do a tour. Marvel at the mountains and have a great Sunday.

day is really interesting.

People avoid the Valley in the morning, which is fine but come afternoon, people are here, looking to grab a spirit to go home with and to kick their tired legs up and celebrate their accomplishment with.

And some of the more adventurous folks are actually showing up in their running gear to do a tour.

Today could not have been a better weather day for those running in the marathon! And it is still beautiful. And we are open tomorrow from noon to five so come on by and tell us about your marathon experience!

Happy Five Year Anniversary of being a part of the New World Distillery Team, to Linda!

These days, you’re lucky to catch her at the distillery because she is busy living her life with excitement and adventure.

She is not just a wine enthusiast: she is a multilevel, certified Sommelier.

She is not just a honey collector: she is a licensed, cottage-certified, Master Beekeeper and she will be doing a presentation this Monday so that she receives her Cornell Master Beekeeper Certification after already passing her written exam as well as her field exam.

She is not just a recreationalist: she rides bikes and represents a Kühl (get it?) company and she wins stuff.

She loves her husband, her kids, her grandbabies, her dogs, and maybe most of all her bees. She is a Queen in of herself, and even if she’s only at the distillery every now and then, we are grateful to have her as part of our team.

She writes a column for our new and improved all about bees. If you can’t find her honey, we carry it at the distillery in Eden. It makes a great Bees Knees cocktail. We also have her honey lollies if you have to stash your kids in the car while you shop for spirits. 😂
