The deconstruct has begun! Our growing season 2026 has been full of color, hard work, learning curves and most importantly - bouquets! I am so incredibly proud of our little flower farm. I can honestly say for every failure, success was matched. It has not been easy, but what is right? Weeds grew, plantings were late, support netting didn't get installed quick enough on a few beds, we lost a few plants, we didn't get to put as much in the farm stand as we intended BUT we were able to supply weekly flowers to our subscription clients, I filled every single bed with a different type of flower and they all produced, I was able to keep chasing my dream while being able to be a Mom first, I have a beautiful greenhouse to start my seeds for next spring, my dahlias bloomed (!! Didn't think they would - late !!) And I get to do it all over again next year, God willing, of course.
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to learn about me and let me stay out of the box this world tries to keep us in sometimes. To me, that is what true success looks like.
