WE'RE MOVING!

We've taken a HUGE step of faith and made the decision to not renew our lease this August here at 102 Courthouse Square.  

WHEN are we moving?  
Mid-late July.  

WHERE are we moving to? 
We don't know yet!  we said it was a HUGE step of faith!  We trust the Lord will provide something quickly!  

WHY are we moving?
There are lots of reasons why.  But, mainly, we feel led to move.  And since making the decision, the Lord has sweetly confirmed it in several ways. The temptation to worry is very real, but we've seen the Lord do too much in our lives to not trust Him.   

WHAT will we carry in our new spot?
We're still going to carry your favorite clothes, accessories and pottery! (But not ice cream.)

Will we have a MOVING SALE? 
Definitely! We'll have a huge sale section to let go of all the things we won't be taking with us!  (Just in time for the 'Peachtree 23 Yard Sale' this first weekend in June!)

How can you PRAY with us?
We do ask you to join us in praying for a new spot and a peaceful transition. We know the Lord loves for us to pray for specifics. And he loves for us to agree on things together in prayer. So here's what we need from the Lord: Something smaller, in space, with less rent cost and with less overhead cost. Something more manageable for a new grandmama. Something raw so we can get it dirty and still create. A place where you can still come and create with us! A warm, small, peaceful place that reflects our love of God, nature, creativity, and even neutral colors. And lastly but not least in any way, we would love to stay in Edgefield.  

We will miss this spot and we know you will as well. But we trust that where the Lord leads us in the next few weeks will be GOOD in every way!

We look forward to keeping you updated on how and where the Lord leads! And we'll keep you updated on all the sale things too!

(Please be respectful with your comments and questions and know the next few weeks will be extremely busy for us... we may not be able to answer and respond to everyone... and we reserve the right to and will delete anything negative.)

You'll find us doing lots of things around August & House. One of those big things is reclaiming, reconstituting, and rehydrating all the scraps we've collected from all our projects and workshops. Then we let it dry some, wedge it, and then roll it out and make something out of it again! It truly is a labor of love.
