The little owl, or Mochuelo, represents wisdom and knowledge and it is the sacred animal of Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom, arts, and war. I love arts and crafts, and creating owls has a deep personal significance to me; it makes me feel full of joy and happiness. That is why I chose to name my business Mochuelo in 2014. Fins used to lay flat… now they're stuffed, just like the tail, so he holds his shape a little better on a shelf or mantle. Small change, but I think it makes a difference. What do you think?

A few weeks ago, this walleye had a rip right before I sewed the fins. I had to cut a whole new piece and start over!
