Lane booking / coaching platform migration

We are moving from Square to a custom-built platform designed to be a one-stop shop for all our customers — parents, players, coaches, staff, and lane rental users.

As part of this transition:

Your basic information will be securely migrated to the new system
You will use your email ID to log in and access your account

The new platform will allow you to:

- Book lanes online
- Complete checkout seamlessly
- Make edits or updates to your bookings
- Manage everything in one place

We’re making this change to improve the overall experience and bring everything under one system.

You are invited!

Since starting from scratch in 2019, DAS Cricket Academy has grown through the trust, support, and commitment of so many parents, players, and families. Over the years, we have had the privilege of being part of the development journey of many young cricketers, and we are grateful for the role we have played in their growth.

From the beginning, our vision has been to build a genuine cricket pathway—starting with players as young as 5 years old and creating opportunities all the way through to Premier Division cricket, including progression into teams such as the NJ Blackcaps.

As an academy, we have continued to invest in our players, our programs, and our overall structure. We are constantly working to improve the academy, introduce new plans, and create stronger opportunities for player development. Our focus has always been to provide a robust, proven pathway that is accessible to all committed players.

We took our time with this decision. We carefully evaluated a range of options, including opportunities with academies from the UK and Australia as well as IPL teams. Over the years, I personally visited multiple locations, met with various management teams, and took the time to understand which collaboration would be valuable for us, for our coaches, parents and ultimately our players.

After thorough consideration, we decided to move forward with the option that best aligns with our long-term vision for player development, opportunity, and growth.
We believe this next step will help us further strengthen the pathway we are building and open up new possibilities for our players and families in the years ahead.

We are proud and incredibly excited to announce that DAS Cricket Academy is now Delhi Capitals Cricket Academy.

As of April 01, 2026, D C A is now DC C A - its not just an extra ‘C’ - its our commitment to you. It's an opportunity, not just local but global. As we announce this, there is a DC Academies Global Cup (https://www.aninews.in/news/sports/cricket/delhi-capitals-launch-dc-global-academy-cup-to-strengthen-global-grassroots-talent-pathway20260403144508?amp=1) being hosted in Delhi, where Delhi Capitals UK academies are participating in 3 different age categories, playing where DC players practice, on GMR grounds.

“This is an important milestone for us, but more importantly, it is a major opportunity for our players and families. We have always believed in building something real, sustainable, and meaningful. This next chapter gives us the platform to do even more.”

For NOW, we look forward to inviting and hosting all our Coaches, Parents, Players, Staff, Management and Friends for a social at DAS Cricket Academy on April 11, 2026 at 6 PM.

Billing Update for DAS Enrolled Parents / Players

Dear Parents,

This is an important reminder regarding the transition to our new billing system.

If you have not yet completed your billing details in the new system and have not informed us whether you received the email:

We will have to continue billing you through the old system.

As communicated multiple times, a 3% credit card fee will apply starting March 1.

You still have one more day (through February 28) to:

Provide your banking details in the new system, and

Choose a quarterly or bi-annual billing option if you wish to save on coaching fees.

Due to delays in parents completing this step, our transition timeline has already been pushed back by nearly two months. To cover the additional administrative burden of maintaining two systems:

Families who have not transitioned by March 15 and require us to continue billing through the old system will incur an additional 5% administrative fee going forward.

We strongly urge you to complete your billing setup in the new system immediately so we can avoid unnecessary fees and operational delays.

There is also a pending player and parent details form that was sent out - everyone must complete that ASAP.

Thank you to those who have diligently completed the steps to ensure smooth transition.

We need your help!

System Migration Update

We are close to completing the functional setup of our new system. This platform will allow us to capture key details (such as DOB, CricClubs ID, email, etc.) once, so we don’t have to request the same information every tournament or season.

A crucial part of this migration is the information that needs to be entered by parents when requested.

We have already emailed parents a link to securely save billing information. It is important that everyone completes this as soon as possible.

If you have not receive the email, please let us know and we will resend it. You can WhatsApp us on the academy number: +1 732 243 9348.

Thank you to the parents who have already completed this step (around one-third so far). For the remaining families, we strongly request that you complete this at the earliest. Your timely action will help us complete the migration smoothly and on schedule.

Update on billing and monthly fees

Dear Parents,

Thank you for your support during the summer and fall leather ball league seasons. For many families, this was the first experience with leather ball cricket, and for some it was a transition from tennis ball to leather ball. As an academy, we conducted onboarding calls, explained league operations (Div A vs Div B), shared how game days work, outlined RSVP expectations, and discussed the cost structure for league participation.

As part of each player's registration process, all parents completed a credit card authorization form which clearly states that additional coaching, games, leagues, and events are billed separately from regular academy fees. Accordingly, if your child participated in league games or tournaments, there will be associated charges.

We recognize that some parents who joined from tennis ball groups or mid-season may have missed certain communications. For that, we acknowledge our responsibility and will continue to improve how and where we share information.

However, we have consistently communicated league details and cost expectations across various groups and forms, including:
1. The fall tournament sign-up form, which specified a price range for participation.
2. Messages explaining that league games are not run by the academy.
3. We expect that Parents read through documents when registering and completing league and tournament participation forms.

It is important to note that league costs cannot be a fixed number upfront, because they depend on multiple variables, including but not limited to:

1. Number of games played and games washed out
2. Umpire fees
3. Insurance
4. Ground permits (which vary by township and facility)
5. Portable toilets (Johnny on the spot)
6. Equipment and operational expenses

These costs have now been incurred.

Despite clear authorizations and forms, we have seen cases where parents have switched the card on file or initiated credit card disputes after their child has participated in games. Filing a dispute in this context is inappropriate and results in a lengthy, time-consuming process that directly harms the academy, increasing our operational costs dramatically, especially when we have acted transparently and in good faith.

To be absolutely clear:

By signing the credit card authorization and league or tournament interest/registration forms, parents agreed to pay for league participation within the communicated cost range.

These league games are run by an independent organization. The academy does not profit from league games. In fact, we work hard to keep costs as low as possible, and there is additional administrative effort involved in organizing and reconciling these events.

If you have any questions or concerns about charges, or if anything is unclear, we strongly request that you contact the academy directly so we can explain and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

While we do see some challenges each season, it has been a lot more this year. We would like to remind you though that you have read and signed the credit card authorization and the fall registration forms.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we continue to build a positive, transparent cricket environment for your children. Our primary focus is developing cricketers, and everything we do is with that goal in mind.

We genuinely welcome feedback and remain committed to improving. Many of you have shared constructive input, and where possible, we have implemented and will continue to implement those suggestions. However, actions that result in financial loss or disputes directly impact the academy’s ability to operate effectively and provide the level of service and opportunities we aim for.

We would also like to sincerely thank all the parents who have supported the academy in various ways throughout the season. Your trust and involvement are a key part of what makes this program possible.

Monthly coaching fees and cancellations

Please note, academy requires a full ONE month billing cycle notice. So if you are planning to cancel cricket coaching starting Feb 01st, you must inform us in December. This is also on the credit card authorization which all parents have signed and has been communicated in the whatsapp community multiple times.

We cannot be more clear on this process than we've already been.
