You know you’re a small business owner when finding your own business card in a grocery store parking lot feels like finding a lucky penny. 😂🥹🍀

I walked out this morning and spotted it on the ground and immediately thought, “LOOK! My shop’s card is out here in the wild!” 😂

It was such a silly moment, but honestly, it made me smile. Seeing my small business represented out in our town where I wasn’t even expecting it felt pretty darn special. 💚

Of course, I picked it up because technically it was littering… but for a second, I let myself feel like a big deal. 😉😂

This month, we’re joining millions of people in the Plastic Free July® Challenge it’s a global movement much like Earth Day 🌎

All month is dedicated to encouraging us to reduce single-use plastics through our everyday choices.

The best part? You don’t have to be perfect choose one thing to change. Every reusable bag, refillable bottle, and package-free choice makes a difference. When we all take small steps, and make one change those actions create lasting impact.

* Did you know every piece of plastic ever created still exists, somewhere? 💡

Looking for an easy way to get started? Bring your own bag when you shop (say no to plastic bags), use a reusable water bottle instead of a single-use plastic one and say no to plastic straws (we have glass, bamboo and stainless steel ones)

Shop local. Refill often. Bring your own containers. Every refill keeps another single-use bottle out of the landfill while supporting a small business right here in our community.

Let’s make July the month we choose to refuse single-use plastics and build habits that last all year long. 💚🌿
