Your outpouring of love, prayers, and support has truly been felt and means more than you know. Thank you for continuing to keep Susan in your thoughts as she focuses on rest and recovery. In the meantime, we hope you’re all continuing to create beautiful things!

💕 Creativity Continues. Community Continues.

The Studio has always been about more than paint, paper, and pretty things. It’s about friendships, laughter, encouragement, and having a place where you belong.

While regular shopping hours will be limited during my recovery, our creative community will keep gathering, learning, and making wonderful things together.

Please continue supporting our instructors and joining us for these events! Your participation helps keep The Studio thriving.

🍁🎨 CREATIVE PROMPT: WELCOME FALL… FINALLY! 🎨🍁

Okay, creative friends…let’s have a little FUN!

Fall has FINALLY decided to make an appearance, and I thought it would be the perfect excuse to get those creative juices flowing!

I’m sharing this colorful mixed-media journal page as your INSPIRATION PIECE for a little creative challenge!

🍂 Here’s your challenge:

Use this artwork as your jumping-off point and create something that celebrates FALL!

🍁 An art journal page
🎨 A scrapbook layout
✂️ A junk journal spread
🌅 A card
🖌️ Or whatever your creative heart dreams up!

Pull out those scraps of paper, washi tape, paints, stamps, stickers, markers, and all those little bits and pieces you’ve been saving for just the right project!

Here’s the fun part…

You don’t have to copy this page! In fact, I’d LOVE to see how you make it your own. Change the colors, rearrange the elements, add photos, include journaling, or take the inspiration in a completely different direction!

✨ THEN COME BACK AND SHOW US WHAT YOU CREATED! ✨

Post a photo of your finished creation in the comments so we can all enjoy each other’s creativity!

No rules. No pressure. No perfection required.

Just a little creative play and a whole lot of FALL FUN! 🍁🧡

Who’s going to play along? 🙋‍♀️

Create Something. Belong Somewhere. ❤️

❤️💕 TEAM FOSKIN KICKOFF PARTY! 💕❤️

Well, friends…if you know me, you know I don’t do much of anything without finding a way to make it a little creative! 🎨

As most of you know, I’m heading into open-heart surgery on Thursday, October 15. And rather than spending the afternoon before surgery sitting around worrying (or letting my mind wander down a thousand rabbit holes!), I’ve decided I’d much rather spend it doing what I love most—surrounded by friends, laughter, creativity, and the wonderful community we’ve built at The Studio!

So we’re officially kicking off TEAM FOSKIN, and YOU’RE INVITED!

🎉 TEAM FOSKIN KICKOFF PARTY!

📅 Wednesday, October 14, 2026
⏰ 3:00–6:00 PM
📍 The Studio at Paper Arts
1361 Fretz Drive, Suite 100 | Edmond, OK

💕 COME & GO — EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

Here’s what we’re planning!

🎨 ATC CREATION STATION!

We’ll have an area set up where you can create two little Artist Trading Cards (ATCs)—one to leave with me as a little encouragement for my recovery journey and one to take home as your very own Team Foskin keepsake!

And don’t worry if you’ve never made an ATC before! We’ll have supplies and samples ready, and absolutely no artistic experience is necessary!

🍪 COOKIES & DRINKS!

Of course, we’ll have some of my favorite treats to enjoy while we visit! Because what’s a gathering without cookies?!

❤️ FRIENDSHIP, FAITH & LOTS OF LAUGHTER!

No formal program, no expectations, and absolutely no need to stay the entire time. Just stop by, say hello, make a little art if you’d like, and help keep my mind occupied the day before surgery! 😂

I’ve always believed that laughter, friendship, faith, and a little creativity can get us through just about anything. And right now, I could use a whole lot of all four!

So come spend a little time with me before I head into this next adventure. I can’t think of a better way to spend the afternoon before surgery!

You don’t need to RSVP, bring anything, or even be crafty. Just come as you are!

And I promise I’m not planning to teach a class, organize a big production, or put anybody to work. (Okay, I might do that last part! 🤣)

Let’s fill the afternoon with creativity, encouragement, cookies, and a whole lot of laughter!

I hope you’ll stop by. It would mean the world to me. 💕

With love,
Susan ❤️
