Metcalfe Drugs originally opened in the early 1940’s and has been serving the Edmonton community at the current location since 1947. For years, Metcalfe Drugs operated a Soda Fountain and was the local hangout for decades. Local teens would rush to fill the 3 booths after getting out from school, as it was the place to be seen. Today, our drugstore is still a busy place with a lot to offer in addi

tion to filling prescriptions. We offer free delivery and a large selection of over-the-counter products. We have a large assortment of $1 items and seasonal merchandise. Meet our Staff:

Dennis Parker – Pharmacist. Dennis is a 1975 graduate of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science. He is also a 1981 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Dennis has been employed at Metcalfe Drugs since 1981. Jamey Wimsatt – Owner/Pharmacist. Jamey is a 2006 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD). Jamey joined Metcalfe Drugs in September of 2013. Alan Flener – Owner/Pharmacist. Alan is a 1981 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. He has had ownership in Metcalfe Drugs since 1982.
