Jubilee Tomato variety seed. Indeterminate. This seed represents about 15 tomato sandwiches or a pretty salsa to eat with your tortilla chips. One tomato had approximately 150 seeds. That’s over 2000 tomato sandwiches!!!

Makes me want to try the glaze combo on the new clay to see if I can get this same rosy and white combo. I know how to do it on the white clay but I use the speckled clay now almost exclusively.

The bell peppers have been extra nice. I’ve been freezing them on a cookie sheet and then placing them into a bag to get out just what I need when I’m cooking.

I’m really hoping the pears ripen this week so I can make a pear chutney. It’s just a little spicy. I ate a pear this morning while admiring the lovely garden. Wish the pears were not such devas. Lol

One of the Jubalee tomatoes were ripe enough to pick. It’s a very mild tasting tomato. Probably considered low acid. Not a fav of mine but still glad I gave it a place in the garden.

I’m going to eat some Christmas Lima beans for lunch. I will get enough of them to replant next year. They look so pretty hanging from the 7’ tall fence that hubby constructed. I’m going to save the seeds of the chocolate cherry tomatoes too. I read they are also heirloom. They are scrumptious!

Red Deuce tomato variety. Probably a record size for our garden.

The length between my index finger and thumb is 5.25”. I use this measurement with my hands a lot in making mugs so I know I threw the walls high enough.
