Please note that these patches are no longer part of our fundraiser. We have already made our donation to the families, so all remaining patches are now being sold as a regular retail item.

After years of serving the Edwards AFB community, it’s bittersweet to announce that our storefront will officially close on Friday, July 31st❤️

We cannot begin to express how grateful we are for every order, every conversation, every event, and every person who chose to support our little family business. Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of this incredible community.

If you have an outstanding patch order:
📍 All local patch orders must be picked up at the Edwards AFB Exchange no later than July 31st.

📦 If you selected shipping, your order will be mailed to you as soon as it’s ready.

‼️Most importantly‼️We will not close our doors with outstanding orders. Every order will be fulfilled, and every customer will be taken care of. Thank you for your patience and support throughout this process.

While our storefront is closing, Thread & Steel isn’t going anywhere. Our website will remain active as we move into our next chapter, so stay tuned for what’s ahead.

There are no words big enough to express our gratitude.

Because of this incredible community, $72,800 was raised through our memorial patch fundraiser for the families affected by the June 15th B-52 crash at Edwards AFB. Every one of the eight families received a $9,100 GoFundMe donation.

This fundraiser was never about a patch—it was about standing beside families during the hardest moments of their lives and reminding them they are not alone.

To every single person who purchased a patch, shared a post, encouraged others, or supported this mission in any way: thank you! Your kindness turned into something truly meaningful.

While nothing can erase this loss, we hope this support helps lighten even a small part of the burden these families now carry.

Created in honor and remembrance of the eight heroes we lost on 6.15.26. This memorial patch serves as a tribute to their service, sacrifice, and the lasting impact they left on their families, friends, and the military community.
