School supplies fill a backpack. These essentials help a child feel ready from head to toe. 💚

Through our school supply program, we provide gift cards so families can choose properly fitting shoes for their children, along with brand-new socks and underwear.

They may seem like small things, but they can make a big difference. A comfortable pair of shoes and fresh essentials can help a child walk into school standing a little taller, ready to learn, make friends, and focus on the year ahead.

We’re collecting monetary donations specifically to fund these shoe gift cards and purchase new socks and underwear for local students. Every gift helps give a child comfort, confidence, and a strong start to the new school year.

Back-to-school season is here, and we're working to make sure every child in our community has the supplies they need to succeed. You can help!

🛒 This Saturday (7/25), the Glen-Ed Pantry will be outside both entrances of the Glen Carbon Walmart collecting new school supply donations for our upcoming School Supply Distribution. If you're shopping, consider picking up an extra pack of notebooks, pencils, crayons, folders, or other school essentials to donate. Every item makes a difference!

🙋 We also need volunteers! We're looking for friendly faces to greet shoppers, explain our school supply drive, and hand out a list of our most-needed items. It's an easy way to make a big impact for local students.
