Ever since Grandpa Ray Lofton planted his first pecan orchard in Vick, Louisiana, in the early 1960s, our family has enjoyed sharing pecans with our friends and neighbors. Two generations of Loftons have grown up beneath those pecan trees, harvesting and cracking the nuts in the fall, and making pecan pies and pralines all year round. Good morning all! After two weeks of having to miss the Alexandria Farmers Market I am happy to say I plan to be back there today from 3-6 with our delicious pecan treats, cold pressed pecan oil and this wonderful shelled Elliott pecans. So come out to see us and all the other vendors today.

Hey there folks. I hope everyone has a nice upcoming weekend. I’m going to start mine off tomorrow morning at the Cabrini Farmers Market. I always look forward to being there. I will have specials on pecan brittle and pecan bread. Price will be $5 ea vs regular price of $8. So a nice little savings!! Come on out to see us in the morning from 9-12.

Sorry I’m so late with this post. I plan to be at the Natchitoches Farmers Market tomorrow morning from 8 to noon. I have not been able to make any Saturday markets the last 4 weeks so look forward to being there. I will have several “Specials” tomorrow. Large pies, pecan bread and that awesome pecan brittle. Come to beautiful downtown Natchitoches tomorrow morning to visit all the great vendors and take advantage of some delicious pecans treats at bargain prices!

I warned y’all. I said it may never happen again until the next time. Well the next time has arrived. I have some delicious pecan bread that’s just a few days old for sale for $5 each at the Alexandria Farmers Market today from 3-6! Unlike older folks like me, you can pop it in the microwave and it’ll be good as new. Looks like you’re going to be stuck inside for a couple of weeks with rain moving in immediately after we complete the Market, so may as well enjoy pecan bread and coffee. Just sayin.

Unfortunately we will NOT be at the Alexandria Farmers Market today. Life has happened. Plumbing issue has reared its ugly head so waiting on a plumber to see what needs to be done. Once again, water has proven that i will find a way out given the opportunity. I hope to see y’all next week. Please go out and support all the other fine vendors that will be at the Market.

Great market at the Alexandria Farmers Market on Tuesdays from 3-6. Plenty of fresh produce to choose from. Now is the time to take advantage and get locally grown vegetables. Coker Farms still has fresh strawberries and of course I’ll be there with those healthy shelled Elliot pecans and pecan oil. I do have plenty of sweets if you feel like misbehaving 🙄

This little cluster is starting its journey to the Alexandria Farmers Market for the market today from 3-6. Getting its coat of chocolate on and then slide into its comfy little package. Of course I’ll tag along with it to make sure it behaves! Come visit with it today!
