It's Moody Monday and this week we're grounding a space in something that feels like the earth itself🌿

Meet Rooted in Olive. A living space built around two Carole Fabrics that feel they were pulled straight from a walk through the woods.

It starts with “Charlotte Dill”, a cream linen with that sweet little olive leaf print that feels fresh but grounded. Followed by, “In Knots”, a soft boucle weave that brings in all the cozy texture you want layered into a space like this. These fabrics work together to pull the whole palette together in a way that feels effortless but intentional at the same time.The rest of the pieces on the board plays right into that energy, all pulling from that same grounded olive palette.

Can your floor tell a story? At St. John's Lutheran Church in Effingham, IL, it does.

When this beautiful church came to us for their remodel, we knew every detail had to be as meaningful as the space itself. From paint selection to flooring, we helped guide every decision with intention. And when it came to the floors, we knew we had the opportunity to do something truly special.

We partnered with Karndean Designflooring USA to bring a custom LVT installation to life, with a stunning cross inlaid directly into the center of the main walkway. LVT is one of the most customizable flooring options on the market, meaning your floor can be as unique as the space it lives in. Whether it's a custom border, a pattern, or a symbol that greets every person who walks through the doors, the design possibilities are nearly limitless.

What began as a blank statement window became one of our favorite transformations yet🖤

The vision for this space belonged entirely to Design No. 7 Interiors : girl glam, done in black. Our role? Bringing that vision to the windows. We partnered with their team to curate something that not only looked gorgeous but worked beautifully for their client's real, everyday needs.

That meant a screen shade layered with custom drapery from Lafayette Interior Fashions. A combination that filters light without sacrificing the view, then lets the custom drapery do what it does best: bring softness and elegance to the space. Crisp white with slim black stripes, finished with a gold rail that anchors the whole look.

Because when the window is the feature of the whole room, every detail matters.

Since 1889, we've seen design myths come and go. Though one just made its way to the top of the list, right around the time your entire feed turned into AI caricatures and someone decided that meant ChatGPT could also just... design their home.

At Wright at Home, we believe there's no shortcut for someone who actually shows up. A designer walking your space, sourcing the right products for the way you actually live, and is with you through every detail from the first conversation to the final install. ChatGPT can give you a starting point, but we give you the whole journey.

We always say there's a moment in every remodel where it all starts to come to life and this is it🤩

This space is far from finished. There's trim to install, cabinetry to set, lighting to layer, window treatments to soften it all, and so many final details still to come.

But this is usually the first moment since demo day a remodel no longer feels like a construction site. The space starts to feel like a home again, one that's beginning to reflect a vision thoughtfully designed around the way life actually unfolds here. The morning routines, the cozy evenings, and everything in between.

We can't wait to share the full reveal of this remodel with you when it's ready, but for now, we wanted to celebrate this project’s first big step towards feeling like home again🤍

It's Moody Monday and this week we're drenching a bathroom in all the drama!⬜️⬛️

Meet Modern Merlot Deco. A bathroom built around deep burgundy walls, a whisper of Art Deco pattern, and the one element that ties it all together: a bold black and white checkered floor. We're talking the Wilcox Fifty Five Checkmate White and Checkmate Black 24x24 matte tiles from Louisville Tile Distributors, Inc., laid to create the kind of statement floor that the 1920s and 30s made iconic. Equal parts of geometric and glamorous.

The rest of the board plays right into that energy. A white Arabesque tile for the shower wall, a dark Noir Straight Joint mosaic both from Marazzi USA, and gold fixtures that lean into every bit of the Art Deco glamour this design is calling for. Marble looks throughout tie the black and white story together from floor to wall, and the merlot color anchors the whole room with depth and personality.
