People often ask about how much "survival cord" is used in our products. While paracord is often called "survival cord", we don't design our products with a survival aspect in mind (except keeping your tumbler from trying to survive a fall out of your hand 😉).

For the record, here's how much paracord is used in each item:

Tumbler handles: 18 feet
Bottle holders: 3 feet
Short (over-the-top) straps: 12 feet
Long (cross-body) straps: 52 feet!!!

We made 12 short straps and 8 long straps today. If our grade-school math still works, that's 560 feet of cord used...in ONE day!

If we've been silent on this page for the past couple days, it's for a good reason. Mrs MugGripz and I took a quick road trip to Red Wing, Minnesota to visit some family. We got to see the world's largest boot...yes, really! Red Wing is a pretty cool small city and we're looking forward to going back.

We're back in Door County now and, after a good night's sleep, we'll be hard at work first thing tomorrow. Thanks for letting us indulge in a little "us" time and sharing it with you.

We're at Lakeside Park in Jacksonport today for Cherry Fest! Lots of vendors, live music, great food (including cherry EVERYTHING!) and a beach along Lake Michigan. What more could you want from a festival?

We're looking to hire someone with a little computer knowledge to help us out!

We've been so busy this summer that our plans to upgrade our website have fallen by the wayside. And, to be honest, technology really isn't our strong suit. (Our strong suit is creating new calluses on our hands by building incredibly sturdy paracord handles, as we're sure you know by now right?).
