Sunday Cafe, up close ☕️ A little European café. A little garden lunch. A little "let's stay for one more round."

The table begins with the Lotus Flax embroidered linen -- organic in pattern, relaxed in palette, and intentionally layered against a striped backdrop that brings just the right amount of café-inspired character.

At each place setting, the Barcelona Ruffle Napkin is gathered with a Bamboo Napkin Ring and paired with our Honey Rattan Charger for a combination that feels collected, effortless, and just a little nostalgic. The tabletop continues with Ashleigh Dishware, topped with the Marie Clear Salad Plate, introducing delicate floral motifs and vintage-inspired charm without feeling overly formal. Glassware follows suit. Grace Gold stemware adds a subtle touch of polish while the Melodia Moss Water Goblet brings color and depth to the table, echoing the fresh greens found throughout the floral design. The florals lean into that same philosophy. Soft peaches, buttery yellows, fresh greens, and blooms that feel gathered rather than arranged.

Every layer has a purpose. Just a beautifully collected space that invites guests to settle in and stay awhile.

It's hard to explain what this launch means to us 🥹

For years, our story was spread across different websites, different brands, and different chapters.

Today, for the first time, it all comes together.

Over the last year, we've poured an unbelievable amount of time into building a new digital home that feels worthy of The 1978 Collection. Not just a place to browse rentals...but a place to explore, learn, plan, and see what's possible.

You'll find thousands of products, endless inspiration, custom capability details, planning resources, and probably more content than anyone reasonably needs. We may have gotten a little carried away 🙃 But if you've worked with us before, you know that's kind of our thing.

We didn't want to build just another rental website. We wanted to build something people will ACTUALLY enjoy using. Something that helps you find what you're looking for, discover what you weren't, and walk away with more ideas than you came with.

And somewhere along the way, this stopped feeling like a website project and started feeling like the digital version of who we've become as a company 💚

English Interlude, in the details ✨

This look started with one fabric and turned into an entire environment. Our new Winifred print moved through the space in layers: first as a scalloped topper, then chandelier shades, then a custom bar skirt for the new Laila Bar. And instead of stopping there, the pattern was replicated onto vinyl and transformed into wallpaper behind the lounge using Archer Bar Backs as the structure.

That’s the part we love most about this one. The same idea showing up in completely different ways, without ever feeling repetitive.

The lounge and bar weren’t built against walls or tucked into corners either. They were designed to float within the room, creating moments that feel fully immersive from every angle.

The Archer Bar Backs became architectural. The wallpaper became part of the experience instead of just a backdrop.

– Greta Gold Dishware with its soft ruffled edge

And grounding everything:
