We’re excited to welcome high school teens, school staff, counselors and educators to The Princess Project® Teen Outreach Day & $5 Dress Preview this Saturday, August 29, from 10 AM-4 PM at Parkway Plaza!

Our public $5 dress fundraiser will be September 12th! All proceeds go towards supporting our free prom dress giveaways in the Spring!

We had the best time at San Diego Bookfest this weekend! Thank you to KPBS for the opportunity to connect with the community! A big congratulations to this year’s One Book, One San Diego selection winners!

So many people stopped by our table to say hello and share their Princess Project stories, including former dress recipients and volunteers!

One of the most important things we were able to share was how we partner with several of our local county and city libraries to bring our dress giveaways to communities with teens who may not be able to travel to our main store location.

We also love supporting our local libraries so attending teens and their families can learn about all of the resources and programs available to them!

It was a very special weekend for us! We attended the 47th Young Artist Academy™ Awards at the Directors Guild in Hollywood this weekend as a charity collaborator, celebrating talented young artists while sharing the importance of giving back, building confidence in young people, and fashion sustainability!

The Princess Project® was honored to take part in the awards presentation, while members of our volunteer leadership team joined the red carpet to interview attendees and young artists about what giving back and philanthropy mean to them!

We are incredibly grateful to the YAA for welcoming us and giving us the opportunity to share our mission with so many wonderful young people and attendees!

And a huge congratulations to all of the nominees and winners! It was an amazing night!

Saturday was a busy day at The Princess Project! We organized the store and held our first Teen Ambassador meeting of the season! A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers for helping to get everything in shape for our upcoming fall events!

We were at the San Marcos Senior Center this week for National Night Out! It was a wonderful evening sharing our mission with attendees! We even had a few teens who previously received dresses from us stop by to say hello, and we met so many new families and community partners!

A big thank you to the San Diego Sheriff for coordinating and making this event happen every year!

Last week’s prom dress giveaways were incredible, and we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who volunteered at our Parkway Plaza boutique! We had a little over 400 appointments booked, and so many happy teens found the dress of their dreams! It was an amazing start to the season! Our second week of giveaways begins Wednesday April 1st!
