I don’t think I could make my August vacation mode any clearer.

Just got back from a week of family glamping, and in 10 days I’ll be heading back to my little swimming paradise to celebrate my birthday.

You can catch me here until next Thursday. After that, I’m off again.

Some weddings arrive exactly when they should.

This one came to me almost a year before the wedding day, and that kind of timeline is a designer’s dream. It gave us the freedom to refine every detail, revisit ideas, and source intentionally instead of settling.

One of my favorite details? The handcrafted clay pots framing the ceremony. I found them just a month after booking the wedding and happily stored them for nearly a year because I knew they were exactly right for this design.

Time is one of the greatest luxuries in the creative process. It allows me to source one-of-a-kind pieces, provide thoughtful design revisions, gather meaningful client feedback, and make decisions based on what truly belongs—not just what’s available.

That’s the kind of bespoke, highly personalized experience I love creating. And it’s only possible when we have the gift of time.

Every now and then, I get invited into a love story so intimate that it quietly stays with me long after the flowers are gone.

This elopement was one of them.

From the moment I read the bride’s vision, I knew it would be special. Thoughtful. Restrained. Rooted in the landscape rather than competing with it.

And then I watched the two of them walk toward the cliffs, surrounded only by the people who matter most, with the ocean stretching endlessly behind them.

There were no grand productions. No spectacle. Just two people making a promise to each other in a place that already felt sacred.

These are the days that remind me why I chose this work.

Not because of the flowers themselves, but because they become part of moments that will be remembered for a lifetime. My work quietly weaves itself into someone’s most meaningful memories, and knowing that is a privilege I will never take for granted.

Sometimes the smallest celebrations leave the biggest imprint.

And this one stole a little piece of my heart.
