A Quiet Reminder of Why I Started 🙌🏼🌹
Today, while walking through the El Paso International Airport, I passed by the souvenir shop with Visit El Paso [Thank you for the support!]and I noticed a customer carefully looking through and selecting a VLFL product. They didn’t know I was the creator. They didn’t know I was standing nearby. They were simply connecting with something that spoke to them.
In that moment, I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude and pride.
I haven’t been very active on social media lately. Life has been full (gracias a Dios): balancing family, my full-time career, new opportunities, meaningful connections, and growing this small business. Sometimes that means stepping away from posting, but even during these quieter seasons, VLFL continues to grow, and for that I am incredibly grateful.
Vive La Frida Loca was created from a deep love for El Paso, Mexican culture, art, and community. Seeing our products displayed in a place where travelers from around the world can experience a piece of our border culture is a feeling that’s difficult to put into words.
To everyone who has supported VLFL throughout the years—thank you. Every purchase, every share, every recommendation, and every kind word has helped keep this dream alive.
Today’s moment reminded me that success isn’t always measured by likes, followers, or how often we post. Sometimes it’s seeing a stranger choose something you created and realizing that your work is reaching people exactly as you hoped it would.
✨ Keep creating.
✨ Keep believing.
✨ Keep going, even during the quiet seasons.
Beautiful things are still happening behind the scenes.
¡Nos vemos pronto!
Con Mucho Amor y Respeto para Ustedes,
💐Mónica ❤️
